Well - we cant believe that the time has gone by so quickly since we decided to do the Camino end of last year. We leave for UK on the 19th April, then head down to Paris on the 23 April to celebrate Stews 60th for 3 days, and then... we head for Saint Jean Pied De Port in the foothills of the Pyrenees on the 26th to start our Camino on the 27th.
Lots of prep work and purchasing of items has taken place in the last few months, and the planning of our walk of 300km over 2 weeks has been the most challenging, but all in all, I think we are ready! We have been told to "go where the spirit leads us" - well, at the moment I am yet to experience that feeling, whatwith all the planning that we have had to do, so will see how we feel from the beginning, during and at the end of our journey.
